We process your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and other local provisions on data protection, insofar as these are necessary for the achievement of the respective purpose (Art. 6 sec. 1 sentence 1 f) GDPR).
If you give us explicit consent to the processing of personal data for specific purposes, processing is permitted on this basis (Art. 6 sec. 1 sentence 1 a GDPR). Consent given may be revoked at any time with effect for the future (see section 9 of this data protection information).
We share your personal data within our company exclusively with those departments and persons who need this data for further processing.
We may transfer your personal data to affiliated companies to the extent permitted by the purposes and legal bases set out in section 3 of this Privacy Information Sheet.
Otherwise, data is only passed on to recipients outside the company if statutory provisions allow or order this, the transfer is necessary for processing and thus for fulfilment, if we have your consent or we are authorized to provide information. Under these conditions, recipients of personal data may be, for example,:
Recipients to which disclosure is immediately necessary for the establishment or performance of the contract
Recipients to which disclosure is directly necessary for the organization of the event
Other data recipients for which you have given us your consent to transfer data
Transfer to a third country is not intended as the data is processed and stored within Europe.
We process your personal data as long as this is necessary for the performance and subsequent documentation of the access to the Mediabank. Storage for other purposes does not take place. The erasure periods result from the specific purpose of the processing and the extinguishing concept applicable to the application.
Every data subject has the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), the right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), the right to notification (Art. 19 GDPR) and the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
In addition, there is a right of appeal to a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR) if you believe that the processing of your personal data is not lawful. The right to appeal is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
If the processing of data is carried out on the basis of your consent, you are entitled under Art. 7 GDPR to revoke your consent to the use of your personal data at any time. Please note that the revocation will only work for the future. This does not affect processing operations that were carried out before the revocation.
Please also note that we may need to retain certain data for a certain period of time in order to comply with legal requirements (see section 7) of this data protection information.
Insofar as the processing of your personal data takes place in order to safeguard legitimate interests(according to Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. f GDPR) you have the right to object at any time to the processing of this data for reasons arising from your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). We will no longer process this personal data unless we can prove compelling reasons for processing that are worthy of protection. These must outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing must serve to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
